Dear friend,
I created this law firm to provide a space for talented attorneys (who happen to be women) to breathe and thrive in their professional excellence without having to compromise in their personal lives. Too many accomplished women attorneys - especially women of color - resign from the legal profession because they’ve been made to feel that the practice of law isn’t for them.
I was one.
We might leave convinced that a woman must constantly fight to be taken seriously, can’t start a family without compromising her career, can’t enjoy a personal life for sake of career advancement, must measure up against impossible standards or, figuratively, wear shoes that were never meant to fit.
